University students' level of satisfaction with their department based on DISC behavior pattern - Centered on some areas in North Chungcheong Province -

Abstract
The research surveyed second/third/fourth-year students in Y university where located in North Chungcheong Province by using self-administered questionnaire. We examined their levels of satisfaction on their university's departments by Marston, W.M's Human behavior pattern.
1. More than 88.3% of the research subjects were second and third-year students with similar sex ratio, 59.1% males and 40.9% females.
2. The levels of satisfaction with departments showed that 30.8% of students in health department was ¡®satisfied¡¯ and the most highest group turned out 38.5% of those in welfare department on ¡®somewhat satisfied¡¯ and 60.0% of students in IT department was ¡®unsatisfied¡¯. To sum up, 260 students out of 418 (62%) was ¡®satisfied¡¯.
3. Students' level of satisfaction with professor were revealed that 41.9% of leading type and 41.4% of social type were ¡®somewhat satisfied¡¯ whereas 45.0% of stable type was the highest group. 43.9% of prudent type are ¡®satisfied¡¯. The results were statistically significant (p<0.01).
4. For their level of satisfaction with curriculum by behavior pattern, the highest percentage was 38.0% of social type and 40.4% of stable type of was ¡®somewhat satisfied¡¯ type group(39.5%) and the prudent type group(45.5%) were ¡®satisfied¡¯ and ¡®somewhat satisfied¡¯, respectively. The result showed the difference in their level of satisfaction with curriculum by behavior pattern.
5. For their level of satisfaction with department by behavior pattern demonstrated that the highest percentage was 38% of stable type, 37.2% of leading type and 35.2% of social type with ¡®satisfied¡¯ whereas the highest percentage of 40.0% prudent type was ¡®somewhat satisfied¡¯.
6. For their level of satisfaction with career by behavior pattern demonstrated that the highest percentage was 40.2% of social type, 37.2% of leading type, and 36.4% of prudent type with ¡®satisfied¡¯ whereas the highest percentage of 36.8% stable type was ¡®very satisfied¡¯.
